Wednesday, 22 November 2006:

Slept in some - I usually awake around 07:00 or so, 08:00 today. What a luxury... Unpacked the bike. Spent most of the day "mashin' ass" - loafing on the couch. Later in the day my Dad and his wife Pat arrived from Tallahassee. They get the guest bedroom tonight, so it's the sofa bed in the living room for me. Here's Dad and Mike "mashin" while we watch some tube. Later on Dad, Pat, and I went to eat a mess 'o fish at Gene's Seafood in Jacksonville Beach. After that we went to the Twisted Sisters Cafe, where Wednesday night is open mike night. Brother Mike and Tamara, who play in a band called Shoofly, took the stage and played a few. It was pretty cool. Came back after that and stayed up til 02:00 shooting the breeze with Mike.
