Jupiter – King of the Planets

• As the ruler of the Roman Olympian gods, Jupiter (Zeus to the Greeks) was the god of the sky. Jupiter is the largest of all the planets – it is about 11 times as wide as Earth.
  
  
• The Great Red Spot is a gigantic storm in Jupiter's atmosphere.
