Croagh Patrick Mountain
Croagh Patrick is the second highest mountain in Ireland.  It became a pilgrimage site after St. Patrick spent Lent on top of the mountain.  On 'Reek Sunday' (the last Sunday in July), 25,000 pilgrims will climb the mountain... many in their bare feet.  Although we didn't climb it in our bare feet, we had a great time trekking up all 762 meters on a very sunny day.  More information on the mountain can be found at http://www.croagh-patrick.com/ .
